Women and Islam

A woman in the circle of Islam

Islam has elevated the social status of women to an unimaginable degree. Before the publication of the Qur’an and the foundation of Islam, the woman was at all times disenfranchised at that time. She had no right to govern and decide anything in her life: on education, her husband’s choice, she had no right to be the equal partner to her husband, but he was her owner in every respect; he could have been thrown into the street whenever he wanted , the woman was not entitled to any property, inheritance or disposal of any income, had no influence on her children, had no right to divorce her husband if she was not treated properly or committed violence, she was not entitled to deals with some interest and profession, in other words, was completely deprived of every respect. In Arabia, there was even the ultimate humiliation of having a daughter, and people were shying away from others, out of shame, and doubting whether to leave their female child in their lives by committing shame or burying the child while still alive.

Islam raised the woman to a high place and guaranteed her rights, bestowed noble missions, and made her honor saint. The Muslim woman is the jewel of Islam, and the shell (protection) of this gem is her Hijab. Allah commanded women to hold fast their Hijab. Wearing the Hijab is worship. Allah has made the Hijab wearing a symbol of honesty.

What does Hijab represent?

The Hijab in a woman’s believer is expressed by the inner part of a person who expresses her humility, purity, self-control, such as valance, nobility, goodness, and spirituality. Hijab is a protection, a shield for a Muslim woman living in harmony with sharia. The Hijab has become a protector of what Muslims as a gift have received from Allah.

In fact, it represents:

  • Virginity and honesty. Respecting the rules of the hijab, “… They will not be in sin …” nor will they approach the sinner and make them unpleasant. Identifying the beauty inflicts a woman’s distress and pain, and to those who recognize her – temptation and evil.
  • In the case of elderly women, who are not temptations, nor is the source of this evil – the Exalted Allah, said: “And the elderly women, who no longer desire marriage, are not a sin to put off their coats, but not showing the places where the garments are adorned … “

Allah, the obligation of the hijab, has been designated only by believers. Although the significance and significance of the hijab in older women is of great importance, we cannot even imagine how big the value of young women and girls is. The adherence to the provisions of the Hijjab, each sincere believer, is thus not only a due honor to Allah, but also expresses his godliness. So, Hijab protects her from anyone who claims to be evil and immoral.
