It’s a funny fact , or maybe a funny saying “the history didn’t though you anything”. Well, maybe it’s not that funny. Maybe there is a truth in this saying. The sad fact is that the people memory is short. We have been destroying each other for centuries and yet we are continuing to do so, regardless the consequences and human casualties. We established so many “pease keeping bodies”. After the world war the allies created the United nations for just one sole purpose. The sole reason for creating an multinational independent body such as UN is created in order to preserve peace. The founders of UN stated that their obligation is to stop all kind of violence or behavior that could lead to war in the future. The Geneva conventions were created to preserve both human rights and peace. If we disregard the past, the middle ages and bunch of wars in the past we set the things backwards in the 20th century by creating not one, but two global conflicts. In the 20 th century we let ourselfs to create a massive and global scales conflicts. We let ourselves to create something that the world has never seen before. The World wars. Those wars changed humanity and that effect is even today very much visible. We don’t wanna waste lines to describe the effects of those wars, everyone is familiar of that. What we need to focus on is the future. As every military analyst can say the time when second world war was held was the time, the last lapse of that kind of warfare. The weaponry was at his peak when it comes to destroying the world. That was the last time that war technique was enabling the enemies to engage in a war and not destroy the entire world. That was the last time that whe development of weaponry enabled a war of that scale. It was literally the last moment in human history that allowed the war on global scale and simultaneously to preserve the world. If we look at the combat system we all know how the second world war has ended. Us dropped two nuclear bombs on Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The casualties are visible even today. Those two cities are a wreck today. People were born with terrible bodily dysfunctions and various types of cancer. That was a non humane act. And the people of today are not aware of terrible danger of modern weapons. The UN don’t have the means to fight both with NATO alliance in one hand and Russia , China and other great powers on the other hand. Second fact that lead to creation of weapons of mass destruction is the cold war between Russia and United States. The cold war brought the time of massive race in development of all kinds of weapons that could destroy the entire world if another massive conflict occurs, the third world war. This war could lead to destruction of the entire population and world. The entire human race could seize to existed because of the power of nowadays weaponry. The other massive problem in the recent decades is creation of terrorism around the world. The great powers, aligned with NATO alliance devastated Iraq, Afghanistan and middle east. Those people from those countries are left with only one choice of confronting the enemy. And that is guerrilla warfare. The western media called this act of war the terrorism. In the recent years this act of war got is religious conture. Those individuals, the real terrorists and their implementation in the world in the recent years are the example of so called “boomerang effect” because of the western politics. Don’t be mistaken, this people twisted Islamic beliefs to fit their own causes and to justify themselves and their actions. This actions lead the world in the 21th century to religious conflict and that is a major social problem.
